Everyone, welcome back to our discussions of living, renting and buying on Long Island. Let’s talk about some highlights of staying in this wonderful place today.
The beauty of the place is unquestionable with the gorgeous bridges and tunnels through Brooklyn and Queens. The sites of the lighted bridges at night are one of the tourist attractions but if you choose to live here it will be the normal view out of the window. You get to live in suburban paradise while being well-connected to the joys and attractions of NYC. Transportation is excellent here with JFK, LaGuardia Airport, and Long Island MacArthur Airport, multiple smaller airports, railroads, subways, and several major highways.
The economy here is affluent, Long Island has been an aviation centre for years, as well as centre for scientific research and in engineering. Long Island is home to the East Coast’s largest industrial park. So the island is densely populated and bustling with economic activity. The good news is that Long Island has crime rates lower than the US average by half.
There is room for tourism with two Indian reservations, historic sites and bridges and some beautiful landscapes. There is also space for fun and culture here so investing into Long Island real estate will always be a great idea.

There comes a time for all of us to purchase our first piece of property. The sense of having a place of our own is really unforgettable and compares to nothing. But the venture is also troublesome and stressful since there are many things to consider.
Let’s talk about being serious about Long Island real estate. Investing in property on the island is a lucrative business but one needs to consider many factors and do a lot of research.
